Checklist: housing for the crew in Gothenburg
The contract is won, the start is in a few weeks, and ten people need to live somewhere for four months. This is the list that saves the evening emails about housing.

1. Travel time to the site
Count by car, in rush hour, door to gate. A home 15 minutes away on the map can take 40 in the morning. Every home page shows the distance to the major work sites in kilometres, so you can do the maths yourself.
2. A real kitchen
A crew that cooks saves real money per person per day compared with eating out, and is happier. Ask for a four-ring hob, an oven, a full-size fridge and freezer and enough pans. Our homes have kitchens ready to cook in, with utensils for the whole crew.
3. Beds, not sleeping places
Count one bed per person. Sofa beds and bunks work for a week, not a season. Each home page states the number of bedrooms and beds.
4. Wi-Fi for everyone
Ten people video-calling home at the same time need a proper connection. Wi-Fi is included in all our homes.
5. Laundry and cleaning
A washing machine in the home or the building, and a plan for cleaning. Cleaning as agreed is included with us, and linen and towels are in place at move-in.
6. Parking
Work vehicles and vans need a place without fines. Check whether parking is available; it is listed under amenities on each home page.
7. One contract, one invoice
The whole crew and the whole stay on one contract, with the invoice to the company. No private cards, no ten separate bookings to reconcile.
8. What happens if the project changes
Projects get longer and shorter. Ask what applies before you sign. With us, project contracts have fixed dates and monthly housing always has one month's notice. If the project ends early, we talk and sort it out.
9. Who answers when something breaks
One contact person with phone and WhatsApp who answers the same day. That is the difference between a home and a problem.
10. No prepayment, no deposit
Ask what has to be paid before move-in. With us the answer is nothing: one invoice after move-in.
